In my photographic work, the most vital theme is 'reflection'. This signifies that photography is more than a mere art of documenting; it's an act of reminiscing, reimagining, revealing, and reconstructing. In essence, it's 'reflecting' my personal thoughts.

Thus, this site can be seen as a mirror, reflecting my very essence. The comprehensive body of works is named and arranged under my personal life's project, entitled 'Around the Lake.' This lake is none other than 'Biwako' or Lake Biwa, the largest lake in Japan, situated in my beloved hometown. Growing up in the shadow of this lake, where I still reside, has fundamentally shaped who I am. It is here that the primary inspiration for my photography finds its roots.
